The 3rd Annual Freedom House Gala

Saturday, April 28, 2012 | 6 - 10 pm | Saint Mary's Cathedral | 1111 Gough St, San Francisco | Semi-formal attire

Freedom House invites you to our 3rd Annual Gala. It’ll be a night to remember, with dinner & drinks, musical performances, live & silent auctions, and guest speakers. Hear powerful testimonies from survivors and learn about the amazing work that’s been happening at Freedom House, the first shelter in Northern California for adult female survivors of human trafficking.

The night will be an exciting opportunity to meet community members who are engaged in the anti-trafficking cause and to stand in solidarity against modern-day slavery. Come learn more about human trafficking and how you can make an impact in the lives of survivors--right here in the Bay Area.

Guest speakers will include:

David Batstone

Co-founder and President of Not For Sale, an anti-human trafficking campaign that equips and mobilizes activists to re-abolish slavery. A visionary leader in the abolitionist movement, David will speak on the fight against modern-day slavery.

Jaida Im

Founder and Executive Director of Freedom House, Jaida will share from her experiences launching the first shelter in Northern California for adult female survivors of human trafficking.

Survivors of Human Trafficking

The evening will feature testimonies from survivors of human trafficking. A survivor who has become an outspoken advocate on the issue will share her personal story, and a former Freedom House resident will share via video.

Join us for a night of celebration and community action! Your generous support directly impacts the women we serve. Together, we can bring survivors of human trafficking hope and a new life.
